Nature United and the Plant City Commons Community Garden will begin its 2nd 6-week therapeutic horticulture program cycle on Saturday, November 5th, from 9:00am - 10:30 am.
This specific group is available for ages 12+.
Minor will need a parent or guardian to sign necessary paperwork.
Group tailored activities such as plant propagation, harvesting, vermicomposting, garden bed maintenance, and meditation walks. Come make new garden friends and share in the love of everything green and growing.
Sessions will continue to be free until my internship hours with the American Horticultural Therapy Association (AHTA) have been completed.
Participants agree to complete short, anonymous stress rating surveys.
- Registration officially begins October 22. Complete the registration form below
- Program cycle is every Saturday morning 9-10:30 am for 6 weeks (11/05 - 12/10)
- A certificate of completion by Nature United and free plants will be given to all participants.
- No gardening experience required
- Gain valuable horticulture knowledge
- Use natural relaxation to manage stress
- Socialize with a group of kind, like-minded people
- Learn about vermicomposting, how to manage a worm bin, and harvest worm castings for your plants! (Optional)

- Support the program and community gardens by helping to produce and sell plants!
